I built Roar because most of my working day was typing things I could have said. Emails, notes, the same reply for the fortieth time. Talking is about three times faster than typing, and I wanted that without leaving the app I was in.

I don't like inefficiency, and I think typing is one of the most inefficient ways to get work done. This was the main reason I first built Roar for myself, and then a few friends and family started using it. And it reached a point where it was too good not to share with the rest of the world. So here we are.
